QUALITAL started in 1999 the activity of Certification of Quality Management Systems conforming to ISO 9001 and within a few years also started the activity of Certification of Environmental Management Systems conforming to ISO 14001, thus giving the chance to interested companies to easily intergrate two management systems.

Within this year, QUALITAL will also starts the Certification of Management Systems for Safe and Security of Workers conforming to OHSAS 18001, thus fulfilling the offer to the companies aimed to an integrated control of management systems.

ISO 9001

Certification thought to make evidence that a company is committed itself to improve its quality on production processes, product and services in order to increase customer satisfaction.

ISO 14001

Certification thought to make evidence that a company is committed itself to minimize environmental impact of its processes, products and services. This Certification also guarantees the reliability of the environmental management system used.

OHSAS 18001

Certification thought to help the companies to formulate goals and policies in behalf of  Safe and Security of Workers, conforming to existing Standards and to the risks potentially present on the job.

The integration of management systems is simplified because the Sandards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 show the following analogies:

1) “systemic” view of the organization, structured by interdipendent processes and pronounced in staff, responsibility and procedures;

2) The goals (for quality, environment and security) have to be fixed, measurable, clear and formalized;

3) continuous improvement that makes the whole system dynamic in the identification of new goals.

The advantages of the integration of management systems consist in:

1) consistent policy and business culture;

2) homogeneousness of the methodology of management business;

3) rationalization of documents and means used;

4) greater efficiency of each system.

To breathe assurance on the issued Certifications, QUALITAL conforming to the principles reported in the standard UNI EN ISO/IEC 17021:2006:

-  Impartiality – competence – responsibility – openness – confidentiality – responsiveness to complaints

i.e. certification based exclusively on fair evidences of complicance (or not compliance), checked by the auditor and by experienced and qualified technicians, not influenced by other interests or by other parts.

QUALITAL brought a risk analysis referring to potential conflicts of interest and it stated, depending on the circumstances, the way to control and erase potential threats for impartiality of the Organism, both internal and external to the same Organism. Periodically, during the re-examination of Direction, the risk analysis is checked again to evaluate her constant validity.
